Primate Pays Pastoral Visit to the Armenian Church in Las Vegas

On February 1, 2012, the Primate, accompanied by Dn. Harout Markarian, Executive Director of the Western Diocese, paid a visit to the Armenian Apostolic Church in Las Vegas where they met with the members of the Parish Council and the Building Committee. The Primate was briefed on the construction efforts of the church as well as related matters pertaining to the Parish.

The historic ground blessing ceremony of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Las Vegas was held on August 7, 2011. Presided by the Primate, the moving ceremony filled the hearts of the faithful with immense joy.

The "Armenian Church Campus" consists of three buildings namely the Church (5836 sq. ft.); Banquet Hall (8011 sq. ft); Pre-School (2880 sq. ft.) with 91 parking spaces is located in the heart of the Armenian community, at the corner of Ponderosa Way and Santa Margarita Street.

Archpriest Fr. Arshag Khatchadourian is the Visiting Priest to the Armenian Apostolic Church in Las Vegas. The Divine Liturgy is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month at the Persian Christian Church in Las Vegas.
