Primate Presides Over Divine Liturgy and Grants Four Minor Orders of Acolyte

On June 3, 2012, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian presided over the celebration of the Divine Liturgy at St. Leon Armenian Cathedral of the Western Diocese. Rev. Fr. Khajag Shahbazyan, Pastor of St. Leon was the celebrant. During the service, Chris Nareg Kasian received from the Primate the Four Minor Orders of Acolyte.
To mark the end of the calendar school year, Sunday School students delighted the faithful with wonderful songs and recitations. Fr. Khajag expressed his gratitude and commended the dedication of the Sunday School teachers who commit their time to educating the youth and enlightening them with the Word of God. The students received Certificates of Appreciation and parted with the Primate’s blessings.
