Primate Presides Over Divine Liturgy - Dn. Yeprem Yepremian Receives St. Nerses the Graceful Medal

On July 4, 2010, Archpriest Fr. Shnork Demirjian, Pastor of St. Peter Armenian Church in Van Nuys, celebrated the Divine Liturgy. He was assisted by Archpriest Fr. Zaven Demirjian. The Primate presided over the service.

With the initiative of the Primate, His Holiness Karekin II bestowed upon Dn. Yeprem Yepremian the St. Nerses the Graceful (Shnorhali) medal for his years of dedicated service to the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church. Archpriest Fr. Shnork Demirjian read the Pontifical Message of Blessing and Commendation.

Because of his mastery of the Armenian liturgical hymns (Sharagans), Dn. Yeprem Yepremian has been the Choir Director of St. Peter Armenian Church in Van Nuys since 1985.
