Primate’s Pastoral Visit to the Armenian Church of Seattle

On November 21-22, the Primate made a pastoral visit to the Armenian Church of Seattle.
On Saturday, November 21, during a formal banquet, $100,000 was raised for the construction effort of the church in Seattle. We are pleased to inform you that all necessary construction permits have been obtained. The Parish Priest is Rev. Fr. Yeghia Isayan who is also a pastor to seven communities in the state of Washington: Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Edmond, Burien; and Vancouver. In addition, Rev. Fr. Yeghia Isayan is also the visiting pastor to the several communities of Idaho including Twin Falls, Hayden and Boise.
The Primate delivered his message and praised the services of the Parish Priest, the Parish Council, the Ladies Society, the Construction Committee and all other auxiliary bodies of the Parish.
Divine Liturgy and Sermon
On Sunday, November 22, the Primate celebrated the Divine Liturgy and delivered the sermon. Rev. Fr. Yeghia Isayan, Parish Priest and Deacons of the Parish served at the holy altar. The Primate called on the Parish faithful to fill their spirits with the Christian Love and commit to the construction efforts of the church. He also commended dedicated service of the following parishioners: Sahakanoush Babaian, Bible Study coordinator, Mariam Arzoumanian, director of the Bible study, Larissa Mkrtchyan, organist, Rima Gasparyan, Ladies Society Chair, Rozig Haddad, Lucy Yusufian, Levon Movsesov and Anahid Tilpian. The Primate blessed them and awarded each one with small memorabilia.
Following the Divine Liturgy, a small reception was held where each faithful of the Armenian Church of Seattle had an opportunity to meet and speak with the Primate.
