We are pleased to inform the faithful that the construction of the church building of the Armenian Church of the Desert is continuing according to plan.

According to his schedule, the Primate makes frequent visits to the Parish to supervise and support the church construction activities.

A frontal view of the rising churchOn December 10, 2009 His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, visited the Parish and met with Rev. Fr. Krikor Zakaryan, Parish Priest, Carolon Nigosian, Parish Council Chair, the Construction Committee and other parishioners. After being briefed on the construction process, the Primate provided useful advices on the future steps to be taken in the efforts. His Eminence expressed his gratitude to the Parish Priest, the Parish Council and the Construction Committee for their dedication to the Parish and the construction efforts.
