Western Diocese

On March 2, 2010, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, visited the Alfred and Marguerite Hovsepian School in Pasadena. He was accompanied by Rev. Archpriest Fr. Sarkis Petoyan, Pastor of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church in Pasadena, and Dn. Adis Badrosian. Mr. Shahe Mangrian, Director of the School, warmly welcomed the Primate and his company.

Following his meeting with the Principal and the School Faculty, the Primate visited several classrooms and delivered his message to the student body. He also met with Haruoutyun Hillalian, Chair of the Stewardship Committee. Among the topics of discussion was the creation of a playground for the children.
