On November 18, the Primate accompanied by Rev. Fr. Avedis Abovian, Youth Director, and Rev. Archpriest Fr. Sarkis Petoyan, Parish Priest of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church of Pasadena visited Alfred and Marguerite Hovsepian School in Pasadena. They received warm welcome by Principal Shahe Mangrian and the school staff.

Following his meeting with the Principal and the School Faculty, the Primate visited several classrooms and delivered his message to the student body. Also joining the Primate were Haruoutyun Hillalian, Chair of the Stewardship Committee, and Vahe Iskanderian, Chair of the Parish Council.

The visit concluded by a tour of the renovated hall of the church by the Primate and the clergymen. The formal opening ceremony of the hall will take place on December 12, 2009.
