On January 28, 2010, His Excellency Grigor Hovhanissian, Consul General of the Republic of Armenia, welcomed and hosted numerous Consul Generals, and diplomatic representatives of various countries to the Western Diocese.

Following the event, His Excellency Grigor Hovhanissian, former California Governor George Deukmejian, President of United Armenia Fund Mr. Harut Sassounian, Consular Corp Nocenio Arias and his assistant Mrs. Wendy Wagner met with the Primate and had a warm discussion.
