The Diocese is honored to announce the generous gift given by prominent artist Jenik Cook, of her some her most highly valued art works to the Diocesan Museum, which will open in Fall 2010.

In her recent meeting with His Eminence Abp. Hovnan Derderian, she presented a total of 7 pieces that will be permanently stored at the Diocesan Headquarters and put on display when the Diocesan Museum, located underneath the soon to be opened Cathedral, is opened. Her gift has been valued at approximately $250,000.

In her remarks with the Primate, she made it clear that it has given her great spiritual joy to know that her paintings will be enjoyed by the faithful and be exhibited in such an auspicious location as the cathedral of the Western Diocese.

The Primate accepted her generous gift, and honored her as a Godfather of the Western Diocese on Sunday, August 14.
