His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, encourages our faithful to open their hearts during this Christmas and if possible assist our sister Nina Karamanian, who needs a matching bone marrow donor to save her life. NAME: Nina Karamanian

DOB: July 28, 1963

STATUS: Married and has two boys; ages 15 and 18.

Nina is diagnosed with Leukemia, and she is in need for a Bone Marrow transplant.  She is currently hospitalized at CITY of HOPE in Duarte, CA.

The Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry has been involved, and Dr. Frida Jordan is looking to find a match for her in the Armenian community around the world. 

Meanwhile City of Hope has created a specific drive for Nina.  They are anxious to come and test people who are willing to become bone marrow donors.
