Western Diocese

Rev. Fr. Zacharia Saribekyan, Parish Priest of St. Apkar Armenian Church in Scottsdale, Arizona is the representative of the Inter-Ecumenical and Inter-Religious relations.

On February 19, 2010, the Parish Priest met with His Grace Bishop Thomas Olmsted of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix. Rev. Fr. Michael Diskin, Priest of the Phoenix Diocese, was also present for the meeting. The three clergymen discussed such topics as Armenian Christianity, the Armenian Church and the establishment of a partnership. The guest clergy expressed their desire to also meet with His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America.
