St. John Garabed in Hollywood Hosts Fundraiser for New Church Building

More than 250 friends, supporters and parishioners of St. John Garabed Armenian Church in Hollywood attended the fundraising banquet at the Taglyan Cultural Center benefitting the construction of a new church building. Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian presided over the banquet.
“The time has come to take on a challenging task of rebuilding St. John Garabed Armenian Apostolic Church. The spiritual shelter of the Armenian-American community in Hollywood requires the full participation of her faithful. Let our collective contribution serve as a model of what is possible to achieve with a generous heart and a lending hand. Let our kind deeds glorify Christ, our Lord,” said His Eminence in his remarks.
