Western Diocese

His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, maintains a close relationship with the retired Clergy of the Western Diocese.

On December 15-16, 2009, under the auspices of the Primate, the Very Rev. Fr. Baret Dz. V. Yeretzian joined by Rev. Archpriest Fr. Nareg Matarian visited the homes of the Retired Clergy living in the greater Los Angeles area. They expressed the Primate's blessings and wished the Retired Clergy a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas. In turn, the Retired Clergy expressed their appreciation to the Primate for the visitation of the Diocesan Clergy and for keeping them in his prayers.
