Under the auspices of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, the Khachadourian Choir of the Mother Cathedral has organized a pilgrimage to Jerusalem, on the occasions of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the choir and the Holy Easter celebrations, according to the Julian calendar. The Patriarchate of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Archbishop Torkom Manoogian, will welcome and receive the pilgrims.
Very Rev. Fr. Dajad Dz. V. Yardemian will be representing His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian during the Pilgrimage to Jerusalem.
The choir members and their families will take a flight to Constantinople and then, with the Grace of God, on April 20, 2008, will touch the ground at Tel Aviv. A two-day stay in Nazareth will be followed by the second leg of the pilgrimage which includes visitation to Jerusalem to participate in the Holy Week and Easter church services, from April 23rd to 27th, according to the Julian calendar. The Pilgrimage will also include visitations to the Holy Places.
