Western Diocese

Upon the instruction of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, Priesthood Candidates Deacons Hovan Vartanyan, Matthew Ash and Mkrtich Ksachikyan delivered sermons at the temporary sanctuary of the Western Diocese, Burbank; St. James Armenian Church, Los Angeles and St. Peter Armenian Church, Van Nuys, respectively. These assignments afford an excellent opportunity to the Diocesan Priesthood Candidates to improve their communication, language and speech skills for delivering effective and powerful sermons so important in their future service in a pastoral capacity.
