T.C.A. Arshag Dickranian School Commencement Ceremony Held at Karabian Hall

On June 27, 2009, the Commencement Ceremony of T.C.A. Arshag Dickranian Armenian School in Hollywood was held at the Walter and Laurel Karabian Hall of the school. The program began with the procession of students entering the hall followed by the performances of the U.S., Armenian and T.C.A. Arshag Dicranian School anthems. Kathrin Bosnoyan, a 2003 graduate, served as the Master of Ceremonies. After the opening remarks by 5th and 8th graders, the awards and diplomas were presented to 5th and 8th graders by Suzan Kim, Homeroom Teacher, and Vatche Semerdjian, Homeroom Advisor, respectively. Presentation of the high school diplomas was conducted by Krikor Soukiassian, Homeroom Advisor.
The keynote Speaker for the Commencement Ceremony, Ara Aghishian, Esq., Chair of the Armenia Fund-Western Region, preceded by Hovhannes Hekimian, Senior Valedictorian, and Mary Yerkatian, Senior Salutatorian, who shared their thoughts on the occasion.
Parsegh Kartalian, Vice Chair of the Boards of Trustees, and Vartkes Kourouyan, Principle, also spoke before the conclusion of the Program. The Very Rev. Fr. Baret Dz. V. Yeretzian, representing the Primate, offered the benediction at the end of the ceremony.
